This morning we headed to Kenilworth for morning tea.  I well remember the lunchtime chicken/lettuce/avo sandwich I had there on our previous visit, and wanted to visit that particular pleasure a second time.  As it was only morning tea, I had a half sandwich.  ….not disappointed!!

I find it handy not to have breakfast on a mystery trip day, as sunshine coast morning tea stops can be special.  The ladies all trooped up to a wonderful shop full of bling – clothes and accessories, including a terrific selection of unusual earrings (I’m wearing a new pair right now!).  …I’m not sure what the men did – we left them behind.  Then we headed to The Doonan for lunch.  The surroundings are wonderful.

I very, very rarely have pizza, but today I made an exception because they just looked so good.  Very thin, and with sparing, but divine looking, toppings.  I shared a mushroom pizza that was so, so good.  I think it had truffle oil.  The outing was rounded off with a quick visit to a nearby nursery.  Plants were secured and our happy little group headed home.  …and soon I’m off to bowls to finish off the day.  Yep, I live in paradise.
